Abstract
Background : Autism represents the disorder of pervasive development against the child characterized by the disturbance and the laggardness of cognition, language, behavior, communication, and social interaction. Autism can be caused by multiple factors such as autoimmune and food allergy, leading to the distorted brain function. The distorted brain function will cause the disoriented behavioral change and development against the child in several forms such as concentration annoyance, emotional disorder, and speech laggardness, which all merely worsening autism symptoms. Rotation diet and food elimination of certain foods may reduce behavioral disturbances of autism Research Objective : To find out the correlation between food rotation diet and autism behavior change. Research Method : Analytical observation with the approach of cohort study design, supplemented with internal control without matching. The research population includes students of School A Plus Malang, which all seem being observed through food diary and questionnaire. The Chisquare and contingency tests will be used to determine the correlation. Result of Research : 66.67 % children with rotation diet do not show behavior change and 14,3%children without rotation diet do not show behavior change. Results of chi square and contingency tests find the relationship and correlation between food rotation diet and autism behavior change as shown by significance rate of 0.036 and α = 0.05. Conclusion : The Correlation exists between food rotation diet and autism behavior change.
