Abstract
PT. Fallasindo Garment is a company which produced various jeans trousers. The problem faced by the company was they couldn’t be able to fulfill the consumer needs so that there were overtime work and it was caused by the imbalance of production line. To conclude the problem, there was done a fixation of line balancing production line by using RPW and COMSOAL approach and the assistance of QS software so that there would be found minimum line. Line balancing product used RPW and COMSOAL aimed to get minimum balance delay and maximum efficiency line. In re-design, production line with RPW method found the amount of work station 5, line efficiency 96%, balance delay 3.88%. COMSOAL method showed 5 work-station, balance delay 3.88%, and work efficiency 47.43%. From both method, the highest efficient work was RPW and the comparison would use RPW method. From the line balancing design, there found efficiency increasing 52.83% and there was Balance Delay reduction 52.95% and output increasing 60.847 pairs/month. By line production re-design with RPW method, there found efficiency increasing so that the production would run well and consumer demand could be fulfilled.
