Abstract

Purpose of the study were 1) to determine the layout of space according to consumer self-service Mikro Aria. 2) To analyze the layout of Mikro Aria is efficient self-service and 3) To know the difference between the responses of consumers with the capacity to self Mikro Aria. Data analysis techniques used to perform testing of the hypothesis in research. In this research, data analysis techniques are used to determine the retail layout. The purpose in analyzing the layout to see the difference in retail layout based on the perception of consumers with the optimal capacity of the rack on Mikro Aria Swalayan. Data analysis used the scale range, calculate the capacity of the Mikro Aria Swalayan using utilization and efficiency. The results showed that the placement of frequently purchased items at supermarkets according to consumer Mikro Aria is easy, and the use of capacity undertaken by the company is efficient. Placement of the interesting stuff in supermarkets by consumers Mikro Aria is the company's strategic and yet have not been able to use capacity efficiently. According to the placement of consumer goods on both sides of the aisle is spreading however the company has not been able to maximize the capacity owned. Utilization of space at the end of the tunnel made by the company according to the consumer is easily visible and is supported by the use of capacity owned by the company Where product placement is associated with the mission of the product by the consumer according to the company however has not been able to maximize the use of existing space in the supermarket so that the use of inefficient capacity, thus it can be said that there is a difference between the responses of consumers with the capacity of the Mikro Aria Swalayan.
