Abstract

Achievement of Mathematics learning needs existence of improvement, because of Lesson of mathematics becomes one of Lesson entering in UAN with high pass standard. Many factors which can relate to achievement of mathematics learning, for example motivation of achievement, and ability numerical. Motivation of Achievement can be improved as according to level of student ability, if getting correct excitement. Intention of this research is to know relation between motivation of achievement and ability of numeric with achievement of student mathematics learning SMP Muhammadiyah 06 Dau Malang. This research applies quantitative approach with descriptive research type. Data taken in this research is test and equate giving. While data source from this research is class student VIII-A SMP MUHAMMADIYAH 06 Dau Malang. Execution of This research executed on 07 Aprils up to 14 Aprils 2009. Data taken in this research is data result of test and data result of equated. As for data analytical method applies percentage technique and multiple regressions. Result of research refers: (1) motivation of Achievement with achievement of learning with high qualification (47%), Ability of numeric with medium category (42%), and (3) achievement of admission student mathematics learning in categorizing medium (58%). Result of data analysis found that there is positive relationship significant between achievement motivations with achievement of mathematics learning with (r = 0,439, p = 0,007 < 0, 05), there is positive relationship significant between abilities of numerical with achievement of mathematics learning with (r = 0,362, p = 0,030 < 0, 05). From result of double regression analysis between achievement motivations, ability of numeric with achievement of mathematics learning is obtained [by] F value coefficient 6,229 ( P < 0,05).
