Abstract

Training is a serial actIvltIes planned to increase skill, knowledge, experience or attitudeshift. By training, there hoped employee owed good skill so that the employee could have increased work-productivity and the company could resulted quality product. Training which have done directed for old employee or new employee. As Dessler (2004 :216) stated training is a list of activities planned to teach skill needed whether by new employee or whoever existed, basic skill they need for their job. Work achievement is a condition where the employee could reach better work-quality as targeted, the employee skill to the work and employee loyalty to the company. According to Hasibuan (2002:94), work achievement is a work result reached by a person in doing their job, based on skill, experience, and time. Work achievement is a combination of three important factors. They are: interest of a worker, skill and acceptance of delegation duty' s explanation, and motivation role and level ofa worker. Work achievement of PErum Jasa Tirta I Malang was high. It supported by the employee achievement variable score average 268.7. In hypothesis test using t test, there found t table 1.9897, while statistic test found t count 12503, since t count> t table, so Ho rejected and Hi accepted. So that could be concluded that training variable had significant influence in real phase a = 5% with trust level 95%. According to simple regression analysis of training variable (X) to the employee work achievement (Y) had double correlation (Multiple R) 0.813. This number show the relation between independent variable and dependent variable. According to the regression calculation there found positive regression coefficient between training and employee achievement. It means that the better the training, employee performance would be increased. Keyword : training work-achievement
