Abstract

Wireless sensor network (wireless sensor networks) is a wireless network that consists of a collection of sensor nodes scattered in a particular area (sensor field). Each sensor node has the ability to collect data and communicate with other sensor nodes. The rapid advancement of WSN technology can not be separated from the fact that approximately 98% of the processor instead of just being in a PC / Laptop, but also present in several other applications such as in military applications, medical, remote control, robotic chip, communication devices, and machinery - industrial machinery that has been integrated with the sensor. With the WSN technology, we can monitor temperature, humidity, light conditions, noise levels, movement of an object and so on. To this end the project, the parameters monitored are the temperature and time monitoring plants. To obtain these data we use such equipment, namely, LM35 Temperature Sensor, DS1307 RTC as the recording time on a microcontroller chip, and atmega128 microcontroller that functions to control and perform processing on the data .. Data parameters of the plant temperature at each sensor node is sent wirelessly using RF modules to the Server / PC. This thesis aims to design a temperature monitoring system that can perform wireless data communication using ZigBee devices. Thus the user / user can use easily in terms of monitoring the temperature of the moisture level of plants with no effort monitoring directly from the greenhouse / greenhouse. Result of making this system is a system that can monitor the temperature of room temperature plants in the greenhouse as well as online that acquired temperature data wirelessly using Zigbee. Then the server here serves as a data processor which has sent temperatures using Visual Basic software that will be used to analyze the parameters of temperature into the information / data that is useful and valid.
