Abstract

DRBD (distribute replicate block devices) and heartbeat are the backbone of the failover. With the existence of a duty DRBD to synchronize data between the master server and slave server. And heartbeat are tasked to do take over, if the master server is damaged. With the DRBD and heartbeat, a client of the mail server will not wait too long and can access email servers. While in terms of security on the email server in sending and prevent spofing, can use the SPF (sender policy framework). With the spf, spofing can be prevented. Because when an email is sent, it will bring the header from the public ip and the domain, which indicates that the sender is appropriate.
