Abstract

Augmented reality (AR) is an environment that includes a 3D virtual objects into the real environment in realtime. This study will utilize technology as a medium of learning science AR to make it look like a 3D book in order to attract students' attention. AR application is made with three software library, that is : ARToolkit, OSG, and osgART. AR application also requires a video stream taken from the camera as a source of input, then this application will track and detect the marker by using the tracking system. After the marker is detected, the virtual object will be drawn on the marker until the virtual object as if it looks real. Virtual objects created with 3D software, which is 3DS Max.
