Abstract

Objective of this research is to find out any obvius interaction influence between inoculation of Bradyrhizobium and water stress toward growth and yield of the soybean. The research was performed starting from june to august 2008 at Biotechnology Laboratory of Muhammadiyah University of Malang. This research used group random disegn of split plot which was repeated 3 times andconstructed in factorial that comprises of two factors. The main drought area P1: drought on field capacity, P2: drougth on ¾ field capacity, P3: drougth on ½ field capacity. Sub area of isolate Bradyrhizobium that comprises of 4 levels I0: Without isolate (Control), I1: (Isolate taken from the group of teak along whit varietas Kaba soybean), I2: (Isolate taken from the group of Sengon along with var Willis soybean), I3: (Isolate taken from the group of citrus sp. along with var Anjasmoro soybean), I4: (Isolate taken from the group of Morinda citrifolia along with Anjasmoro soybean). Data analysis used homogenous analysis (F-test) along with abvious level of 5% followed by Duncan-test along with obvious level 5%, if there is an influence among the treatments. The research showed an interaction between watering treatment with isolate on growth observation parameter which included: height of the plant under the observation age (30 and 58 HST), number of leaves under the observation age (44 and 58 HST) and width of the leaf for all observation age, dry weigth of the leaf under the observation age (44 and 58 HST). However, for yield observation parameter, there is an interaction between watering rate with kinds of isolate only on observation parameter over dry wiegth of the capsules, and there is no interaction on other parameter.
