Abstract

The location of this research is the Regional Water Company (PDAM) Malang Regency, which is located at Jalan Raya Kebon Agung 115, Malang. With the title " Pengaruh Motivasi Terhadap Kinerja Karyawan Perusahaan Daerah Air Minum (PDAM) Kabupaten Malang ". The purpose of this study was to determine the level of employee motivation in the Regional Water Company of Malang Regency, to know the level of performance of employees at the Regional Water Company Malang regency, and to find a significant influence on the performance of work motivation Regional Water Company Malang. Based on the F test showed that the motivation variables simultaneously, including encouragement to physiological needs, the drive will need security, social needs encouragement, encouragement will need appreciation and encouragement of the need for self-actualization, of the five requirements are only three requirements have significant impact on employee performance in the Regional Water Company (PDAM) Kabupaten Malang. Third tesebut needs of security needs, social needs and the needs of self-actualization. Based on the regression coefficient of each variable then can be described as follows: encouragement of the need for physiological variables (X1) that is equal to -1.059, the drive will need security (X2) is equal to 2.096, the variable will boost social needs (X3) that is equal to 2.677, encouragement 'll need for award (X4) that is equal to 1.07, and 8.257 doorongan self-actualization. So it can be concluded that the variable will boost self-actualization needs to have a dominant and significant influence on the performance of employees at the Regional Water Company (PDAM) Kabupaten Malang.
