Abstract

This research is made based on woman community who existence in patriarki society that glorify class aria must always have the authority than woman community. As to that as one of their existence form is through 'body'. In the case of, this is woman community body function has moved from function of organic/ biological/ reproductive towards policies economy function, especially 'sign' function. Very latest capitalism economy change up at 'body' use and 'desire' as commodity of central points, called with body of 'libido economy' has a part from semiotic capitalism commodity, sign of trade in something, meaning, and their desire. Film of catch up with brothers is one of film that has theme of family and conflict at environment. This film is describes about unforceful of woman figure in face of the hard life so that forced trip self in the world of prostitution. This film told about a girl whose name is Shanaz (Poppi Sovia) who was felt dissapointed with her mother because so fast choose a new father candidate after her father death not yet long, so that is even also decide to go from the house and go to yogyakarta to come in contact with her boy friend. But at arrival province yogyakarta, is disturbed by a group of hoodlums then a woman whose name is Ningsih (Dinna Olivia) help her. Ningsih is a woman who has profession as entertainer woman, but when she has socialization with society she confess as a lecturer. All that she done in order to acceptable in society. This research is using semiotics approach of roland barthez. With do significant approach of two stages that is denotative and konotative. Individuality found in semiotics approach of roland barthez this lay in myth formed after signaling sign system so that sign can be new sign then has signaling second sign that forms of new sign construction, or equally of first signaling language, while second myth. As to technique of data collecting that used in this research is by analyzes then interpreting cuts scene from this film "catch up with brothers", with take 4 as representation from scene another that meaning of a woman in film "catch up with brothers" . As to scene that taken in these research of scene 18, scene 19, scene 43, and scene 57. This scene is describe about an understand of a woman in society that showed through in films figure. Research result in this film is: first, woman not again as subject because controlled by ideology and market importance. With domination existence from these market importance so woman is product from social life. Second, woman struggle to get position in a line with man in 'work' (economy) has equal reason to woman struggle to get 'image' in a line with man. Third, woman body function has moved from the original function (organic, biological and reproductive) aim up at policies economy function. Make 'body use' and 'desire' as central commodity that called as 'economy libido'. Fourth, society patriarki make woman as 'sign object' then putted into in 'system sign' which is on final become a commodity. Fifth beauty myth designed by as follows: tall rank as object senia is predicate that most valuable that can be reached a woman from their boyfriend. If the man appreciates face and the body therefore that the property something that more than merely valuable. The mentioned very elegan. Beauty myth tries to make woman disappoints man by delve to how man appreciate them.
