Abstract

This type of research that the authors do is to quantitative research. Quantitative research is a systematic scientific study of the parts and the phenomena and relationships, with the title "Bank Financial Performance Analysis Method for Measuring Bank Soundness". The purpose of this study is to determine the financial performance of banks listed on the Indonesia Stock Exchange. Usability research, especially to investors or prospective investors, which can be used as information for investors or prospective investors in providing an alternative decision making in investment. Based on the analysis showed that the performance of Bank Central Asia, Tbk Year 2007 Up to 2009 showed a healthy financial performance is evaluated from the capital in this case the CAR (Capital Adequacy Ratio), assets, namely the NPL (non performing loans), which includes earning ROA (Return On Assets), ROE (Return On Equity), NIM (Net Interest Margin) and BOPO into the healthy category. The financial performance of Bank Rakyat Indonesia, Tbk Year 2007 Up 2009 showed a healthy financial performance is evaluated from the capital in this case the CAR (Capital Adequacy Ratio), assets, namely the NPL (non performing loans) into the healthy category, which includes earning ROA (Return On Assets) healthy, ROE (Return On Equity) is not healthy, NIM (Net Interest Margin) healthy and BOPO into the category of healthy. The financial performance of Bank Negara Indonesia, Tbk Year 2007 Up to 2009 showed a healthy financial performance is evaluated from the capital in this case the CAR (Capital Adequacy Ratio), assets, namely the NPL (non performing loans) into the unhealthy category, which includes earning ROA ( Return On Assets) not healthy, ROE (Return On Equity) is not healthy, NIM (Net Interest Margin) are not healthy and BOPO into the healthy category. As for the liquidity ratio in this case the LDR (Loan to Deposit Ratio) into the category of unhealthy and sensitivity to market tends to increase. The financial performance of Bank Mandiri, Tbk 2007 As of 2009 showed a healthy financial performance is evaluated from the capital in this case the CAR (Capital Adequacy Ratio), assets, namely the NPL (non performing loans) into the healthy category, which includes earning ROA (Return On Assets) healthy, ROE (Return On Equity) healthy, NIM (Net Interest Margin) are not healthy and BOPO into the healthy category. Advice to investors or prospective investors are expected to investors or potential investors who will menamkan capital into the banking sector is expected to always conduct analysis on financial performance conditions have been achieved. For Indonesian banks, the results of this research are to be used as a basis in penentukan policies related to the business of improving financial performance so that it can be used as an attraction for potential investors to invest in the company menamkan.
