Abstract

This type of research is using the survey method, which performed at the University of Malang with the title "Analysis of Factors Considered Against Consumer Product Purchasing Decision Making In Distribution Outlets in Malang (at Students University of Malang)". The purpose of this study was to determine the factors that consumers consider to purchase decision on the distribution outlet in Malang and to determine the dominant factors that consumers consider in their buying decision on the distribution outlet in Malang. Usefulness of research to be achieved, especially for owners of distributions in order to give a discourse about the distribution outlet, especially the factors that consumers consider to purchase decision on the distribution outlet in Malang. The analytical tool used in this study by using factor analysis. Based on the results of research and discussion that has been done, it can be concluded that the factors that consumers consider in making purchasing decisions on the distribution outlet in Malang that include product quality, offer a member, at an affordable price, the habit of using the products, knowledge and motivation. The factors that most considered in the purchase decision on the distribution outlet in Malang is a quality product. Based on the results the conclusion can be concluded that the manager of distribution outlets in Malang always offer products that have quality assurance, business is conducted in order to provide assurance that the products offered can be accepted by consumers and compete with similar business that is widely available in the city of Malang. It is expected that the manager is always making efforts for the products offered can be accepted by consumers, by providing comprehensive information through regular promotional activities, offer products at affordable prices and products offered always follow the trend that is happening.
