Abstract

Basic functions of a bank which provides mechanisms and tools for efficient payment, it also creates the money and offer other financial services in the form kemudiaan use of funds allocated to the community, a form of channeling is to make loans. The purpose of this study was to determine the BNI Credit Control Procedures Griya, to check progress and prospects for the realization of BNI Credit Griya from 2009 s / d in 2011 at PT. Bank Negara Indonesia (Persero) Cabang Malang. Data sources used were primary and secondary data. Data collection techniques were interviews and documentation required. While the data analysis technique used in qualitative research is descriptive in that the data acquired directly to determine the development of loan disbursements BNI Griya and quantitative data that is on the strengths, weaknesses, threats and opportunities of BNI Griya products. The results showed that the credit control procedures PT. Bank Negara Indonesia (Persero) Cabang Malang in general is quite good, effective, efficient and controlled it in because Griya BNI credit monitoring conducted since the beginning of the debtor to credit application, to process credit refunds are made by all parties concerned with the bank has implemented a system of prudence in lending 5C on the principle of credit analysis that includes analysis of character, capacity, capital, collateral, and the economic condition of 7P concept. Based on the conclusions, the advice given in this paper the implementation and monitoring procedures are carried out by PT. Bank Negara Indonesia (Persero) Tbk Cabang Malang to minimize the credit risk of the implementation of the principle of credit must be more careful assessment of the principle character in particular, so the occurrence of bad debts can be minimized, in addition to analyzing the credit should the PT. Bank Negara Indonesia (Persero) Branch of Malang especially the credit further improve accuracy and keobjektifannya, sharpen the analyzes performed, and can further improve the performance of the relevant section and to address the credit problems that occur should be more assertive in giving sanction to the debtor in violation. Associated with the supervision that need attention is the implementation of duty shall be in accordance with the procedures and conditions, do not there is fraud committed by the debtor party credit monitoring.
