Abstract

Fattening beef cattle business in the region have long Bondowoso conducted by the community by utilizing the potential of agricultural wastes as feed material, such as rice straw, tebon, rendeng and others. Business is done as a primary or side business of farming. Observational studies ever conducted, the small farmers who most of these efforts tail 2-5 scale as a sideline, were able to sustain the life of every kekuarga breeder. Agribusiness in Bondowoso principals are expected to provide support the breeder so that people can be driven economy and the farmers little can be raised both in the field of business management, production standards and human resources. Also support agribusiness actors also expected to support the activities of farm products in accordance Over with the development and further development of filling the entire meat demand in the domestic and export. World agricultural marketing and animal husbandry / fishery often called agribusiness. These efforts will greatly requires detailed information on livestock production centers, production facilities, the resulting production, marketing, and others. If the information about the centers of these agribusiness clear path, then 2 expected to be more interest in the principals to develop agribusiness to expand its business, especially in the farm sector business fattening beef cattle. In the marketing of farm to the consumer end, many parties involved is, there are middlemen, no wholesalers, and there retailers in the market. The longer the marketing channels will certainly be the weaker the position of breeder. The existence of several parties in marketing as it above is very helpful breeders, because not all breeders have the ability to market their own cattle. Constraint is caused time, funds, and other marketing channels. The gatherer, wholesalers, middlemen and retailers are usually more capable and more ensure the marketing of livestock breeders compared with.
