Abstract

Since the government policy (Law No.13 / 2003 about workforce, many company chose contract employee through outsourcing than fixed employee. In material perspective, employee whose work contract was broken, would loss his facility - the facility found in working, including a week payment, support, and chance for career development, while in social motive, somebody will loose their job, whether status or position, including honor and somebody's ability, the luxurious workplace condition, people's view about success, etc. In reality, the condition could be problem for workforce or contract employee, since guarantee as employee ended in the end of work contract. It influenced the work achievement in institution. The research was quantitative. The research used statistical technique, that was correlation technique. Population used were contracted employee at PT. PLN Malang city amounted 70 contracted employees. Sample method used was total sampling. While data collection method was by Likert Scale. Data analysis used in this research was product Moment correlation. According to data analysis found, there was correlation coefficient (r-count) _ 0,064 and (P) = 0,599. It means that there was un-significant positive relation between anxiousness with contract employee motivation faced the working contract solution. Which means if anxiousness high, achievement motivation would be low but the relation was not significant. While anxiousness gave effective contribution with determinant coefficient = 0,0040 (4%) to the achievement motivation, while rest of them 96% was influenced by another un-revealed variable in this research.
