Abstract

Diagnosing the disease are important on medicine to identify the illnesses suffered by a person. Proper diagnosis will provide the right solution as well as the prescribing or prevention. Sometimes doctors are misdiagnose the disease, it so dangerous. Misdiagnosing causes more severe illness. Because of the importance of it diagnosis, therefore an expert system was made to assist the physician in order to avoid malparactice. The purpose of this final project is to make an application that can make the diagnosis of tropical infectious diseases base on Bayesian methods. This system is expected patients to obtain the necessary treatment process. This final project using 18 species of tropical infectious diseases with 60 different of symptoms. Input display symptoms are the check boxes that will be filled by the user, then the result of possible types of disease will be shown.
