Abstract

Indonesia's geographical conditions cause the vulnerability of the danger of natural disasters, lately that need to watch out for is the eruption of a volcano in some areas. Natural conditions that can not be predicted is forcing governments and relevant agencies made some efforts in disaster management, one of which is to promote early mitigation. Unfortunately, programs that have entered the educational curriculum is not running properly, the lack of creative power and the material to make the material was not delivered mitigation. With the problems that arise are then created the solution by making 3d program to simulate a natural disaster, expected later this 3d simulation can help the tutor in the delivery of mitigation material. This 3d simulation is refers to the existing data field, using 3ds max as an aide-making model. In 3d simulation of volcano disaster illustrates how the disaster happened to describe the output of volcanic material such as lava, pyroclastic, lava and smoke. 3d simulation is running by using the website interface, the website itself is made by using the JSP editor netbeans 6.8. Because these programs focus on the modeling so the website programming made simple and not detailed. 3d simulation is static, due to data field collected does not allow for the manufacture of dynamic simulation. So the user's interaction with this 3d simulation is limited only in terms of viewpoint.
