Abstract

Process elektroliser reduce air pollution and save on fuel consumption used by motor vehicles. Elektroliser process on hydrogen elektroliser produce hydrogen gas. Hydrogen Oxygen (HHO) to enhance combustion of motor gasoline in four steps. The purpose of this research is to reduce the quality of CO and HC emissions and fuel economy on the motorcycle using the tool elektroliser water using potassium KOH as a catalyst. Variations used in this penelitiran elektroliser is the type of dry cell. This study in order to get the data that is actually right then use the following method, which includes efficiency testing, testing efficiency based on time, and the testing efficiency based on distance. So we will get the value of the efficiency ratio on a motorcycle. The results showed that the combination forms a hydrogen elektroliser plate electrode and electrolyte volume of 140 cc is able to reduce fuel consumption by 6.67%. To test the HC emissions, the largest percentage decline occurred when using elektroliser hydrogen is equal to 3.80%
