Abstract

Danger formalin as a preservative in food production, as well as many meyerukan urged the government to call for and urged the government to find solutions that do not harm all parties concerned. Especially consumers who are directly involved in consuming food are like to know, meatballs, noodles and others should be more careful in buying the food, while the part of the manufacturer or distributor experiencing turnover decreased due to a decrease in the number of consumers. If the formaldehyde issue can not be resolved immediately, an estimated 8.6 million people who rely on the life of the profession will lose their jobs or can be said to be unemployed. Liquid smoke is the result piorolisis plant or timber at a temperature of about 400 ° C (soldera2008). The use of liquid smoke has many advantages over traditional pengasapaan method, which is easy to apply, faster processing, providing the distinctive characteristics of the final product in the form of aroma, color, and, in a sense, as well as the use does not pollute the environment. Distillation is a separation technique based on the difference in differences in student point or melting point of each constituent of the mixture homogeneous substance. In the distillation process, there are two stages, namely the stage evaporation process and proceed to the stage of development of the steam back into liquid or solid. On this basis then the distillation the distillation process begins with heating, so that the substance which has a lower boiling point will evaporate. The vapor moves into the condenser is cooling, the cooling process occurs as wed rain the water into the wall(the outside condenser), so that the steam generated will b ere-liquefied. This process runs continuously and finally we can separate the whole of the compounds present in the homogeneous mixture. Formalin as a preservative dangerous and highly detrimental to consumers in particular, is a very bad impact on the traders as well as with the formaldehyde issue that they used to get the turn over per day is now less than the maximum number of consumers. If the issue is not addressed formalin estimated at about 8.6 million people will lose their jobs or are unemployed, the fact that we seek a solution by means of a coconut shell as material pegganti of formaldehyde by using distillation system, distillation process is used to separate the compounds-compounds with evaporation.
