Abstract

This study aimed to determine the effect of dose and concentration Urea Gandasil D on the growth of seedlings of mahogany (S. macrophylla King.). Stages in the implementation of the study include: preparation of seeds, planting media preparation, planting, fertilizer urea dosing and concentration Gandasil D and maintenance include: watering, weeding and pest control. Parameter observations in this study, include: high seed (cm), stem diameter (cm), number of leaves, root length (cm), fresh weight and dry weight. Materials used in this study are the seeds mahogany (S. macrophylla King.) That has been aged 10 months, Urea Fertilizer, Gandasil leaves, soil. Data analysis using randomized block design (RBD) with 2 factorial, where each factorial consists of 3 different levels. Factor I: Urea Fertilizer doses of (A) consists of 3 levels: (A1) Urea Dosing 1 gram / polybag (A2) Urea Dosing 2 gram / polybag (A3) Urea Dosing 3 gram / polybag and Factor II: Concentration Gandasil D (B) consists of three levels: (B0) D concentrations Gandasil 2g / l, (B1) D concentrations Gandasil 3g / l, (B2) D concentrations Gandasil 4g/l.Pengamatan started with 21 HST observation interval 7 days. Data obtained from all observation parameters were observed. To determine the effect of a given treatment performed by analysis of variance using the F test at 5% and 1%, and for comparing one treatment with another used LSD. Based on the analysis of variance showed that at age 21 to 63 dap dap at high observation parameters, diameter, number of leaves and root length mahogany seedlings no interaction and no significant effect on all treatment combinations and doses of Urea Fertilizer Gandasil D on plant growth . Based on the results of analysis of variance is known to be an interaction between dose and concentration Urea Gandasil D. However, the treatment (A1) in the observation and wet weight dry weight tended to be better in producing fresh weight and dry weight of seedlings of mahogany (see Appendix Table 5). While on treatment Gandasil D concentrations in parameter 0.78 grams dry weight and wet weight in grams 0:38 Gandasil D concentration and 2 g / ml / plant (B0) tend to be better than the other treatments (see Appendix Table 5). Based on the analysis of variance showed that the Urea dosing 1 g / plant (A1) and Gandasil D 2 g / ml / plant (B0) tend to be better than the other treatments on fresh weight and dry weight of seedlings of mahogany.
