Abstract

Counting process is learning basic mathematics, so that makes learning math formally been taught since elementary school. At the junior high level students should be able to solve the problem of counting the arithmetic operations positive integer math. One math problem-solving process is to Jarimatika. Jarimatika are now used in some schools learners and tutoring, use jaritmatika method is still taught and learned through books. This resulted in a lack of student interest in learning counting. Development of teaching materials in the form of technology to overcome the limitations of the application of the students and can overcome the limit of the classroom. Macromedia Flash is an application makes learning teaching materials that can be used to assist teachers in explaining the material arithmetic operations on positive integers and facilitate the learning process Jarimatika on positive integer arithmetic operations. The process of developing teaching materials Jarimatika flash based on material positive integer arithmetic operation is performed with the following steps: needs analysis, planning instructional design, instructional material development, validation, testing and assessment products. The results of testing students' responses to the 22 students showed a positive enough response, all learning materials based on the criteria of the average flash presentation is at 39% - 59% which means quite positive, but still suggested improvements for the future.
