Abstract

Modify mixer biogas in this study aims to determine the amount of gas drainage holes in the mixer, so get the result of mixing gas and air are ideal. These modifications include the addition of a mixer and a reduction in the number of holes are ideal, material change of use, addition of gas settings and change the model mixer. Testing and analysis to determine the feasibility of using machine with a methane gas fuel by knowing the stability of the engine, get the value of SFC (Specific Fuel Consumption) and to know the electrical power generated. By varying the outlet diameter of 2 mm BBG, and 4 mm will be tested on the engine EvoLux 1500DX to get the generated power. The results of testing a modified mixer 1400 watts of power available to a diameter of 2 mm. 1400 watts of power available at 4000 rpm rotation. Key words: Modification of mixer, power, SFC.
