Abstract

Air pollution problems will also seems to be one hot topic throughout human civilization. Air pollution is now a lot of pollution caused by motor vehicle exhaust emissions, which the day of use is increasing and the pollution produced was also growing. There are several ways that can be taken to resolve the issue: Test emission, selection of alternative fuels that are environmentally friendly and use Catalityc Converter. Catalytic Converter is a tool that is located in front of the exhaust silencer or pre-muffler, which serves to change the substance of combustion (HC, CO, NOx) into substances that are environmentally friendly (H2O, CO2, N2). Along the development of technology Catalityc Converter recent years. Some good-quality materials such as ceramics and precious metals (platinum, palladium and rhodium) which is widely used olek plant, but such materials are few in number and the price is quite expensive cause its use is restricted. Thus as an alternative material to use materials that are numerous and are cheaper and simpler such as aluminum and brass. After testing Catalityc made from aluminum and brass Converter is able to reduce exhaust emissions of HC and CO
