Abstract

Reciprocal Teaching is a learning method that requires each student to participate actively engaged in the learning process . Reciprocal Teaching method provides an opportunity for each student to share information through the four phases, such as Phase strategy Summarizer, phase Questioner, phase predictor, phase classifier. With those strategy should be able to develop student’s activeness, communication, and cooperation during the learning process. This research was conducted to answer the problem formulation that have been made in this research, those are: 1 ) to determine aplicate reciprocal teaching model of collaborative learning in mathematics learning materials function in SMP Negeri 13 Malang . 2 ) to determine students result in mathematics teaching using collaborative learning model of reciprocal teaching is. 3 ) to determine students activity in learning mathematics using reciprocal teaching model of collaborative learning.The approach used in this study is qualitative, and the type of research is descriptive. this research has done in smp Negeri13 on 09 October 2013 to 23 October 2013. The data was collected by Using observer data, documentation collection and test assignment. The learning conducted four meetings and a test in the end of meeting. The collected data was processed and analyzed in appropriate procedure before concluded. Based on this results of aplicate reciprocal teaching model of collaborative learning in mathematics learning materials function in SMP Negeri 13 Malang .is seen from the activity in which the teacher at the first meeting and the second is still running enough as seen from teacher observation sheet that first meeting reached 64.28 % ( category enough ) and The second meeting reached 69.04 % (category enough). For the third and fourth meetings already well underway as seen from the observation that the activity of teachers has increased its third meeting reached 78.57 % ( categories good ) and the fourth meeting reached 83.33 % (categories good ) Based on this result, average observations data obtained of student activity at the first meeting of 66.97 % (enough ) and at the second meeting of 69.19 % (enough ) at the third meeting of 73.16 % ( Good ) and the fourth meeting 76.24 % ( Good ). Then for students learning result using this method of 41 students who took the tests, 33 students were categorized finished with an average percentage of 80,48 %.
