Purpose and objective of this research is to know whether there is interaction between the application of Growth Regulating Agent (ZPT) solution of abitonik and ZA fertilizer dosage on Semai Suren (Toona Sureni Merr) growth. The investigation is conducted in UMM nursery land (nursery experimentation garden of forestry faculty) of Agriculture Faculty of Muhammadiyah University of Malang. It is located on 530-m above the sea level and its average rainfall is 1.833 mm/years. This research is taken place on January to March 2009. Materials used in this research are Semai Suren (Toona Sureni Merr), Growth Regulating Agent (ZPT) of Abitonic, and ZA fertilizer dosage and also land and sand. While, the used tools in this research are analytical weights, sketchmatch, oven, polybag, ruler, bucket, paper, scissors, labels, and hand sprayer. Experimental design used in this research is Group Random Design (RAK), which is set in factorial that comprising two factors. The first factor is abitonik solution concentration application comprising 5 levels: (G0) control, (G1) 50 ppm, (G2) 100 ppm, and (G3) 150 ppm. Second, ZA fertilizer dosages comprising 3 levels: (H0) 0 g/plances, (H1) 0.2 g/plances, and (H2) 0.4 g/plances. First observation is conducted 14 days post-treatment, further it is done periodically with interval once in 7 days, start on the second Sunday. Destructive observation is done in the end of observation. From the conducted research, the results indicated that there is interaction between the application of growth regulator agent (ZPT) of abitonic and ZA fertilizer dosage on Semai Suren (Toona Sureni Merr) growth. Abitonic solution treatment with 50 ppm (G1) in concentration give the best result on seeds high growth and diameter, while its root length parameter, wet weight, and dry weight do not affected by Abitonic solution treatment. The application of ZA fertilizer treatment with dosages of 0 gr (H0), 0.2 g (H1) give the best result on Semai Suren’s high and diameter, and 0.4 g (H2) gives the best result on root length, wet weight, and dry weight compared by another treatments.
