Abstract

C.V. Barray was a road province asphalting services company which is use many machine that locate in Banten. The machine that they use such as Asphalt Mixing Plant, Finishing, Crusher. There many breakdown while processing the material, the material was not go down or spill down out from the conveyor make the material doesn’t go through to the next process, the temperature of the liquid asphalt was over or didn’t reach the temperature as usually. It make the liquid asphalt can not go trough to the mixing machine or make the material doesn’t fused with the liquid asphalt. The method that use is Failure Mode and Effect Analysis which can be use to identify the failure that occur in the used machine. From the research result can be obtained 7 machine that cause the company dateline was not in line. There is liquid asphalt distribution machine, pugmill, bucket elevator, generator-set, dryer, weigh bin, and cold bin. The proposal should be given from FMEA method is the recommendation action due to machine which has critical condition. The recommendation should be given is make a check sheet to every proposal machine that gave many devicit.
