Abstract

The learning process is a process of communication , which deliver learning materials to students . Mathematics is a science dealing with the abstract structures . Integer is a part of mathematics . there are many students who do not understand the material of integers . In essence the lack of understanding of the material students are the understanding the concept of integers . In explaining the concept of integers requires interactive learning media that can help students understand the material integers . Hence need the development of instructional media integers using Macromedia Flash . The purpose of the development of media is to produce valid instructional media both in material and media and to know the students' response to the learning media that can be used in the learning process later. This type of research is the development of instructional media research . The steps of the development of instructional media in this study include: ( 1 ) needs analysis , ( 2 ) media design planning , ( 3 ) media design , ( 4 ) trial vanderror , ( 5 ) assessment of students' response to the learning media . The instrument used in this study is the validation sheet and student questionnaire responses . Based on the validation results obtained by the average ratings of validator material 1 is 3,74 , validator material 2 is 4, validator media 1 is 3.66 and validator media 2 is 3,83 . The results stated that the instructional media declared invalid in terms of both material and decent media and tested on students . Based on a study of student responses obtained by the average percentage of students at a very good criteria from the aspect of learning media reaches 74 % , aspect of mathematics media study usability reaches 73 % , education entertainment aspect reaches 75% , the aspect of desire and achieving reaches 71 % , and the aspect of mathematics learning requirement reaches 71 % . The results showed that students' response to learning media is positive / good .
