Abstract

The presence of the green consumer in the development in this era require a company to pay more attention to the quality of the product consumed (safety), type of packaging used, the life cycle of the packaging and the hygienic production process so as to provide the sense of comfort in using the product. This study aims to identify the factors of customer satisfaction in bottled drinking water products and develop the product in accordance with the interest of consumer attributes when selecting the products. The study was conducted in bottle water products 240 ml Club brand produced by PT. Allesia International. The method used in this study is Green QFD (Green Quality Function Deployment). The environmental issues have been considered at Green QFD, so that the environmental concerns are integrated into the HOQ matrix. Green QFD brings environmental issues to its phases, ranging from qualitative data collections, the attributes of consumer interest determination, the rivalry with the product competitors and the company’s technique response. From the 25 attributes obtained, the attributes priority interest of consumers based on the percentage of Normalized Raw Weight are the MUI’s Halal label (5%), colorless water (clear) (4.90%) and the clean water (4.80%). Meanwhile from the 14 technique responses obtained, the response which applied by the company is to move ferrolite groove before DMI over the water treatment in production process (25.80%), using the plastic packaging logo 5 (type PP/ polypropylene) which requested from the permanent supplier of the company (8.0%) and using the glass packaging with Club brand logo to avoid the reuse.
