Abstract

Classroom Action Research compiled by researchers at the background of the students in a discussion of passive, low student to ask, respond, answer questions, often make noise, etc indifferent. this buffer is seen by average - average evaluation of student learning which is less than minimum completeness criteria (KKM). SDN Ploso Ploso Jombang District during this learning is still using the lecture method, this matter has less students respond positively to the task - the task of the teacher. This study aims to improve student achievement, through the application of learning methods Make A Match characterized by the increasing involvement of the student, student's response was good, so fun learning about student achievement to know the type - the type of work can be increased. Results of this study and discussion of the first cycle is known that student achievement is about to know the type - the type of work using the Make A Match is 57.89% who have mastery learning. Based on these data, the researchers went on to the second cycle and the achievement of students who have reached 65.78% mastery learning. From the results of the implementation of the first cycle and second cycle, it can be concluded that by using the Make A Match to improve student achievement on the third grade material to know the type - the type of work in SDN Ploso Ploso Jombang.
