Abstract

CV Cempaka Indah is the industry that manufactures paving. The main products of the company is divided into two types, namely paving rectangle and paving hexagon . As long as these companies of ten run into obstacles in the process of fulfilling the demand and the lack of availability of raw materials settings. So far in regulating the availability of raw materials companies based solely on intuition alone, thus composed of production planning is less accurate. With a large sales and the absence of fluctuating raw material inventory setting the right, resulting infrequent short ages or surplus raw materials needed. Due to uncertain demand, companies need good planning system for the production run. What is needed is a plan needs the right raw materials so that no excess or deficiency will occur which can disturb the production process. The data collected is the data type of product, sales, labor costs, the time of each production process, working time, inventories of raw materials, storage, bill of materials. Forecasting is the beginning of a process of making a decision. To create a demand forecasting, must use a certain method. To find out what forecasting methods to be used,step 1 is to determine the pattern of demand data. After that step 2, which is trying several methods of time series data corresponding to the pattern of demand. Step 3, evaluating the error rate for example using the Mean Absolute Percentage Error (Mape). Step 4, selecting the best forecasting method Mape seen from the smallest and validate forecasting models using the tracking signal. Step 5, to forecast the best method. Formulation of master production schedule (JIP) is the formulation of master production scheduling problem with linear programming methods. Master production schedule calculation process with the help of linear programming using software Lindo. Material requirements planning process is done using Microsoft Excel Software. The output of the MRP (material requirements planning)can be used as data toplan for purchases of materials that must be purchased, the number of bookings, and the period of ordering raw materials in production planning horizon in this case is 12 periods a head.
