Abstract

Marketing strategy has a very important role for the success of the company's generally business and in particular marketing. Besides the marketing strategy should also be conditioned according to developments market. The purpose of this study is to determine the condition of the external and internal environment on the CV. Purnama Malang and to formulate marketing strategies on the industry CV. Purnama Malang. Analysis tools used in research that is uses descriptive analysis, research aimed at describing or outlining the characteristics of a state. Next to it then use descriptive analysis SWOT analysis (Strength, Weaknesses, Opportunities, Threats), where the analytical model describes the overall environment that affects the determination of strategy for the company. From the analysis of the internal environment can be obtained which is the result that the power company that is about product quality is superior, giving a bonus to the tavern / restaurant and shops as well as cheaper prices than competitors. The weaknesses of the company that became a factor that is on the promotion of products that have not maximal, cafes / restaurants and shops are still small compared to competitors, and lack of transportation facilities. Analysis of the external environment can be obtained the results that the factors are still vast opportunities of the target market, many shops & restaurants / cafes that have not worked with the company, the number of customers who do not consume the product and accelerate product distribution channels. Further factors that threaten the company's competitors about the company kind of substitute products and competitors. Formulation of appropriate strategies by using a strategy based on the strength of the opportunities that are owned (SO), to consider that the strategy is able to provide tangible support for efforts to increase sales. Suggestions may be made in this research that the company is expected to consider the condition which is the company's internal weaknesses of the company. It is expected the company to anticipate the competition that occurs is to use all forms of power held by the company. In an effort to support the implementation of the strategy formulation to be applied, expected the company tried to develop a range of marketing areas and supported by the guarantee of the quality of products offered. It is expected the company in conducting activities of production and sales into consideration the results of forecasting has been done.
