Abstract

Analysis of the difficulty students is a way or steps used in resolving the question of students operating a fractional algebraic forms in particular multiplication and Division fractions algebraic form. Study of yag done it had to, (1) this is description of the type of grade VIII error in resolving the matter of the operation count fractions algebraic form.(2) this is description of cause factor grade VIII made a mistake in resolving the question of the operation count fractions algebraic form. This type of research is qualitative, descriptive, qualitative descriptive is described whereby the meaning or the data retrieved. This research was conducted at Mts Flagship Shoots Nation on 05 November Probolinggo – 14 November 2012. Based on the results of this research it can be concluded (1) errors of students grouped according to category (type) errors, namely: (a) students tend to do conceptual and procedural errors are errors at all about the test, (b) procedural errors that often happen is error in performing the countdown, and (c) students who do not always perform conceptual error error procedural. (2) students on a category mistake (a) students tend to do conceptual and procedural errors are errors tests I amounting to 18.4%, 44.7% test II III, a test of 18%. In category (b) procedural error tests I%, 42,1 II tests 50%, tests III 44.7%. In category (c) students who are doing test conceptual error 39.4%, tests I II III tests of 44.7%, 39.4%. (3) class VIII students cause factor Leading the nation Shoots MtsProbolinggo blundered in resolving the question of the operation count fractional algebraic form: do the cross product by doing the sums, followed less conscientious in doing multiplication, not being able to change a constant into a fractional, students still less given exercise training reserved.
