Abstract

The purpose of this study is as follows: 1) The math learning 5E learning cycle model with problem-based learning in mathematics learning class VII-B SMP Raden Fatah Batu. 2) Activities of students in learning mathematics 5E learning cycle model with problem-based learning in class VII-B SMP Batu Raden Fatah. 3) The results of student learning in mathematics learning 5E learning cycle model with problem-based learning in class VII-B SMP Batu Raden Fatah. Type of research is descriptive research. The method used is a qualitative and quantitative method. The subjects were students of class VII-B SMP Raden Fatah Batu and its object is the activity and student learning outcomes after using the 5E learning cycle model with problem-based learning. The data obtained through observation individual student activities and a written test to determine the activity of individual students and student learning outcomes based on the criteria of minimum passing grade (KKM). Implementation of learning 5E learning cycle model with problem-based learning is in accordance with the specified syntax.. Also note as a whole the average activity of 67,18% of students who are in the good category, while the average student scores at 87,95 with a standard deviation of 16,23 and the 88,57% of students declared complete and 11, 42% of students stated yet complete.
