Abstract

This paper discusses how performance induction motor with inverter and compared without inverter implemented with the help of MATLAB software. PWM method is used as a motor speed controller, switching IGBT for switching on /off and induction motors (AC) types of rotor cage. In general,induction motors (AC) type of cage rotor speed setting is very difficult. Control of motor rotation speed alternating current (AC) can be done with an inverter.It can be seen that the inverter is able to control the rotation speed of the motor when loaded. Simulations were performed using the program MATLAB Simulink 7.6.0 (R2008a) The results indicated that the induction motor (AC) response to his speed better than without inverter.
