Abstract

Wood industry including furniture has been a significant industry presence in Indonesia, because it has been able to provide substantial contributions as a source of state revenue. A company can survive in the market must have short and long term goals. Firm's short-term objectives include the maximum sales achievement, maintain and expand the marketing area. While our long term goal is to attain maximum profits, maintain company reputation and entered the extended enterprise. The process of achieving corporate goals can not be separated from the various obstacles. This happens because the levels of increased competition. Competition is a matter of logic in the business world so that a company is required to more effectively market to remain competitive to survive amid the competition of free trade. Effective marketing can be achieved if the company can apply the proper marketing strategies. There lies the importance of the role of marketing strategy as one component of strategic marketing in order to increase the company's sales turnover. Based on the background of problems and formulation of the problem, this study aims to describe and analyze the marketing strategy planning at Company Teak Wood Kukuh Magetan. The type of analysis in this research is descriptive bresifat types of research that aims to describe what is currently in effect. Analyzer used in this research is SWOT analysis (Strenght, Weakness, Opportunity, Threat). SWOT analysis is to how to know and consider about the strengths, weaknesses, opportunities and threats against the company in relation to the achievement of corporate goals can be used as a way to help the strategic analysis. Appropriate marketing strategies to be implemented by the UD. Teak solid Magetan to increase its market share is to use a way to lower the selling price lower tujuanya to buyers who can stand and fight competitors like industries.
