Abstract

Learning mathematics using CD media with the help of computers to provide convenience to the students in understanding the material being taught, so that more attention and interest students in learning and teaching easier for teachers. Development of mathematics learning media by using CD interactive learning for junior class VII in numbers subject intended to make the media can be used by teachers in the learning process so as to enhance students motivation. With this media students can not only learn in the classroom, but learning can be done anywhere and anytime. In this media there is a subject, exercises, and quiz which students can learn independently. In addition, this media can also be used as a media teacher learning in the classroom. This media is made with a more interactive and interesting, so expect a student is no longer lazy in learning mathematics. Based on the results of limited testing of nine students in junior high by Malang Islamic Hasanuddin questionnaire provided, then the conclusion found that students respond to this media with a positive response. According to media students is quite interesting, so students feel motivated and not get bored quickly. According to the subject teachers of mathematics, mathematics learning using instructional media in the form of a CD (Compact Disc) in the material are very good numbers. The effectiveness of this media can also be seen from the results of the quiz that followed 9 students, there were seven students, or 77.8% are thoroughly studied and only 2 students or 22.2 is not yet complete.
