Abstract

Solar cells are semiconductor components that function converts light energy into electrical energy. The power generated by the solar irradiation and temperature dependent cells. In this study designed a control circuit Maximum Power Point Tracking (MPPT) using Neural Network (NN) and Boost converter. To get the maximum power from the solar cell module attached to the stationary condition / static backpropagation method was developed using the input variables such as irradiation and temperature. NN output in the form of numerical magnitudes Duty Cycle (k) to the switching converter. Output power transferred to the load (water pump) is very dependent on the value of k.
