Abstract

Fuzzy logic was said to be new long logic, because the new science of modern and methodical fuzzy logic newly invented a few years ago. In fact,the concept of fuzzy logic itself already exists within all of us since a long ago. The aim of this thesis is to design or create a fuzzy logic controller based on VHDL to make it easy in giving explanation of fuzzy logic. By doing it directly, it is expected will be easier for those who want to learn or teach about fuzzy logic. Fuzzy logic controller system were made is a tool that can be used for the simulation, both input and fuzzy inference system. The fuzzy inference system programmed with VHDL, with rules that can be conditioned according to the requirement. The controller can be used for fuzzy simulator 1 input 1 output (Fuzzy 1-1), and 2 input 1 output (Fuzzy 2-1).
