Abstract

National Exam (UN) is one of the government efforts to standardize the quality of education in Indonesia. The main purpose of the National Examination procurement implementation is to measure student achievement of learning outcomes, measure the quality of education, taking into account the implementation of national education, provincial, district, and school to the community. In other words, the UN is an evaluation of the quality of education. UN has a default value that should be achieved by the learner, namely Graduates Competency Standards (SKL). UN SKL value increases each year. Increase in value of SKL make learners and school anxiety. Anxiety learners because of the learners did not pass the exam if the value does not meet the UN. Learners who fail must repeat or catch the package. Not pass the examination may inhibit the ideals which they dream. In addition, graduate students become critical value for the progress of the school. Schools that can not pass learners will get a stamp of quality school and diminished public confidence in the school. It makes the school concerned. Anxiety is on the UN school mathematics, since mathematics is considered a scary thing and difficult for junior high students. In addition, materials for junior high school mathematics are a relatively new material. Therefore, schools compete to create strategies in Indonesia in the face of UN mathematics, including SMP 1 Malang. To know the strategy is the method of research used in this research is qualitative-fact exposure. The goal is to describe the strategies schools and causation school strategies in dealing with graduation examination in mathematics. Sources of data analyzed are the documentation and interview guides. From the analysis of the results of this research is that the strategy is the implementation of national education standards. Namely, set the school management, learning to manage it well, pay attention to students, and implement specific strategies. Strategy turns out to graduating students at UN mathematics with an average value is quite good, although there are constraints that accompany. Constraints in the form of awareness of students and technical constraints.
