Abstract

The Muhammadiyah Singosari Islamic Center building in Malang Regency is a multi-story structure consisting of five floors. This research aims to evaluate the building's foundation design. The upper structure of this building is constructed using reinforced concrete. The loads applied to the building are analyzed according to SNI 2847:2019 guidelines, and the analysis process is facilitated by the STAAD-Pro software. The foundational design for this building involves the use of bored pile foundations as an option, with the purpose of understanding the variations in dimensions, pile cap sizes, the quantity of reinforcement, and potential settlement in the foundation. The analysis results indicate that the largest load applied to the foundation reaches 175,402 tons. Bored piles with a 30 cm diameter are used as the foundation type. The primary reinforcement used consists of 11D13 bars, and the lateral reinforcement is of Ø 10-60 mm. The pile caps used are divided into several types, including a four-pile cap measuring 1.65 x 1.65 x 0.6 m³, a three-pile cap measuring 2.4 x 1 x 0.6 m³, a two-pile cap measuring 1.65 x 1 x 0.6 m³, and a one-pile cap measuring 1.5 x 1 x 0.6 m³, with the primary reinforcement being D16-150 mm bars. At the point with the highest load, the total settlement observed is approximately 1.5 cm.
