Indonesia is one of the centers of the most important biodiversity in the world with the highest levels of endemism. Indonesia's tourism sector began to receive so much attention from the government. Tourism development is a means of adding knowledge and recognition of nature. Government efforts in the preservation and development of natural resources is certainly to be supported by the whole society. UMM supporting the government's program in the field of natural resource development to build tourist spot called natural or commonly called the Agro. Agro-tourism is a trend that is currently busy man knows now flocking back to the start due to the saturation of human nature to urban life. In agro humans can enjoy the natural scenery and at the same time learn about nature. UMM build attraction by offering the concept of ecotourism. Ecotourism is tourism activities that are recreational, educational and environmentally conservative. Agro development required careful planning to run ecotourism project can proceed smoothly because if one step could be visitors or tourists are reluctant to return to agro on campus III. And certainly in the business carried on there strengths, weaknesses, opportunities and threats. Researchers using SWOT analysis method to analyze what is actually a weakness, strengths, opportunities and threats in a given agro Agro III college campuses III is still in the early stages of development. The research method used was a survey method. By taking 25% of the entire population are available. Samples taken from the number of local officials and community college who had a role in development. Primary data collection methods such as questionnaires and secondary form of interviews and observations, the data analysis is the method of SWOT analysis. From the research, the researchers did a SWOT strategy obtained using four combinations are: 1. Strategy SO, Improving and optimizing existing resources and Building a container to accommodate the creativity of students. 2. Strategy ST, Optimizing the potential of natural resources to offset the attractiveness of competitors and increase means of communication to support the publication and promotion activities. 3. Strategies WO, Adding the necessary facilities to optimize existing resources with grants, provide quality human resources and Expanding promotion. 4. Strategy WT, Maximize existing resources and qualified human resources Adding to assist the promotion and socialization. Concluded that the potential of the existing natural resources is to support the development of Agro Campus. But there are still many shortcomings that still need to be developed and maximized so as to eliminate the shortcomings that are owned by Tourism UMM campus.
