Abstract

The Implementation on the strategy student team heroic leadership in the theory of geometry At SMP Muhammadiyah 06 Dau Malang. Mathematics Education Department, FKIP, University of Muhammadiyah Malang. Ad visor I : Drs. Baiduri, M.Si Ad visor II : Dra. Siti Inganah M.M,M.Pd The purpose of the study were, 1) To know how the students activity in teaching and learning process in used this strategy. 2) To know, ho the student responses toward the strategy. 3) To know, what are the strategy increase in the result of the study for student at SMP Muhammadiyah 06 Dau. The strategy student team heroic leadership not only in the result of the learner, but also in student learning process, which the teacher was attention in student activity in learning process. This study was focused the student skill in learner together, the student skill in answer the question in the group, the student skill to organize of the group, and helped in solve of the problem or exam given by the teacher and to reverie to ask, answer the question, and doing the exam in frat of the class. The research design used this in study was descriptive qualitative and several of the research was CAR (classroom action research). The subject of the study was 30 student from grave VIII B at SMP Muhammadiyah 06 Dau, but the research focused was elected is students. The findings showed that the implementation on the strategy student team heroic leadership there were several the important matter in teaching and learning process were: 1) introduction activity motivation. 2) organizing the students in a small group of discuss and worked the exam. 3) Center activity is identification discussion in small group, make and presentation the result of the discuss in frat of the class, and question-answer display in big group. 4) The last, give the review toward the theory of the discuss make fit of the student concept about the theory in learner and the theory did not understanding by the students. The result of the learner of Lear in the cube and beam theory used the Student Team Heroic Leadership is very good, because from the result of the completeness of student Lear with SKM 70 from 33 students? grades 70 or 86,8% students success in learner and the uncompleted of the students about 13,2%.
