Abstract

The purpose of this study was to determine the types of products that will diversify and describe how the feasibility of product diversification to boost the company's sales volume Diva Aluminum Sukodono Lumajang. This study uses secondary data is data that is processed is sourced from the company in the form of archives and documents obtained by the technique of documentation that collects data by copying documents on the company. Techniques of data analysis is to describe and analyze aspects of the feasibility study, summed up the results of aspects - aspects of the feasibility study, looking at the causes of the weaknesses and constraints in the feasibility aspects, and provide recommendations on the feasibility to diversify its products. From these results, viewed from the aspect of Markets and Marketing, that the company has identified a target market segmentation. An examination of the Technical and Production, shows that the company has a strategic location that is close to the city center and sales of raw materials. Viewed from of that financial aspects are valued using valuation methods, namely investment payback period (PP) = 2 years and 10 days, net present value (NPV) = Rp. 33,899,233, NPV > of 0 positive meaning, the internal rate of return (IRR) = 75.04% greater than the relevant interest rate (implied interest rate) is 13%, average rate of return (ARR) = 106, which means 29% greater than the cost of capital is 13%, and profitability index (PI) = 159.4%, which means greater than 1, then for the financial aspect feasible to diversify the product. Viewed from the aspect of management, that the company has a clear organizational structure with the duties and authority of each. An examination of the law, the company is a private company that does not have a legal requirement like other legal entity, but the company has, CPB (Certificate of Place of Business), from villages / wards. Judging from the Economic and Social aspects, that of a positive impact to the surrounding community of the existence of the project. Overall aspects of the feasibility study, it can be concluded that the diversification of products that will run aluminum company Sukodono Diva, Lumajang feasible or acceptable.
