Abstract

Study is one of process which by every people, begin from young children up to adult. In process of study the children some time feel have difficulty in study, one of that is difficulty in study reading. Difficulty in study reading is unable condition on study which has connection with reading and writing activity. Mostly children who have difficulty in reading, they have low in interest read. This happen because they feel can not read than their friends so they lazy to read. The interests read are strong condition and deeply with feel happy to reading activity so directing the children to read with them wont by their self. For the improving that interest read researcher give some treatment such as constructive game. Constructive game is kind of game where the children use material for make something which is not useful purposes but more useful for happiness which taken from they make it. From that case, so this research has purpose for to know the improvement of interest read to children which feel difficulty in reading pass trough constructive game. The method use in this research was experiment an only case. Experiment an only case research is research design to evaluate the effect from intervenes with an only case. The total subject in this research was 2 people which have characteristic difficulty in reading. The 2 subject are PT and MS. The technique to collecting the data in this research use scale interest read and observation. From the result which has analysis with using observation method can be concluded that there is improvement interest read to children who have been given the constructive game. This case can be seen from observation or interest read subject PT which feel improvement 12.47 and subject MS 12.33. it means that there is the improvement interest read to children who feel difficulties in reading pass through constructive game.
