Abstract

The success of a company will be achieved if the human resources (HR) owned the company achieve good quality. The use of human labor effectively and focused is the key toward the improvement of employee performance for the company. That's needed for a company leader of discretion in directing the business workers are to want to work more productively. Policies that are achieved with I grant the right spirit or motivation to employees in addition to responsibility replied the employees themselves. Achievement motivation is an urge or drive employees to be willing to work together productively to attain and achieve goals have been determined. Achievement motivation seems also influenced by many factors within individual. Personality factor is one important aspect that affects the embroidery and These business people in an attempt to get something. Aspects of gender or femininisme and masculinism of the individual is one aspect of personality that can affect one's motivation to excel in work. So far, gender has the stereotype related to the achievement of certain women and men who are considered different in the field jobs. Associated with achievement motivation, gender affect individual choices in career and also affect the earning potential of men and women. This study is a non-experimental, with 60 research subjects employees Bank Jatim Cab. Blitar taken with a total sampling technique. The experiment was conducted on 3 November to 4 November 2009. Data collection methods are by using two questionnaires namely achievement motivation scale questionnaire and the role of scale gender BSRI.Sedangkan assay adapted from the data analysis methods were used that t-test analysis. The results showed t = (2.695) with p = (0.012). This means that there are differences significant correlation between achievement motivation of employees in terms of gender characteristics which high achievement motivation tend to be owned by employees who have the characteristics masculine gender. Where employees who have masculine gender characteristics with = 119.00 has a high achievement motivation is higher than the employee feminine gender characteristics with = 106.06.
