REPUBLIKA.CO.ID, MALANG – Political Analyst from Universitas Muhammadiyah Malang (UMM), Prof Dr Mas’ud Said, said some day public figure would rule as mayor, governor, or even president. “The open proportional system on General Election Law gives an opportunity for those who have big capital. They could sit on the parliament or even a president,” Mas’ud Said said on Monday. He added the quality of leader would not be a standard. The most important thing, he said, would be popularity and big capital. “The popular people, including public figures, some day would rule the government. Not those who have capacity and quality,” he said.
