Abstract

Phenomena of hidrology constitute a natural process which be difficult to be predicted its matter. Hence, everything which have relevance with hydraulic engineer, at the moment have been developed many model to analyze and predict to phenomena of hydrology possibility that matter. Planning of river building especialy building of flood control to give advance to planning of flood warning system which be based to hidrograf calculation of flood debit (rate of flow). By developing of technology thus computer operation is needed to apply it. The Aritificial intelegentia (AI) method is method based intelegent with name Tree (M5) Model give alternative of solution to probelm of hidrograf forecasting in river. The goal of this study is to know how far tree model may be applied to explor rate of flow flood in Kertosono station (upper course of river) and Ploso station (lower course) during 2 years. Based on the analysis result to April 2006 period was gotten RMSE value = 5,486 m3/second, for March-Apryl in 2007 was gotten RMSE value = 2,171 m3/second and to for December 2007 period was gotten RMSE value = 3,661 m3/second. Thus based on the result may be taken conclusion that tree model may be applied to solve problem of exploration rate of flow of flood.
