Abstract

Children experience many problems in life. Various demands of a burden and pressure of its own for children. In such conditions, children are required to have specific skills to deal with problems that arise. That is how that will be developed in dealing with problem children will be influenced by what is experienced and seen the child in the family. Children whose parents divorce will develop its own way in dealing with problems. Coping is an attempt by a person that includes thoughts, feelings, and behavior in dealing with problems as a result of the pressing demands from the outside or from within ourselves idividu itself. By doing coping, individuals can manage the distance between the demands which derive from the individual and the environment, with the resources they use in a situation full of stressors. This study aims to determine coping committed by children in late childhood in facing problems due to divorce. Research subjects taken as many as three children. Kind research used is descriptive qualitative, while the data collection methods are interviews and observation. From the research result shows that the shape of coping are often used children in the face of problems caused by divorce is coping emotionally oriented circulation. Though inclined to emotional focused coping, children also begin to show the ability to problem focused coping as indicated by seeking friends because he's lazy beajar own sendiri.Meskipun learn if there is only one child who did well in doing so was the child still needs help from others.
