Abstract

Planning of dryer rotary aim to be getting picture and dimension of desain dryer rotary, what later will be got by speed of and warm-up of peangeringan. And to assist to to solve problem that happened at dryer rotary. In scheme of this appliance of capacities and type adapted for by existing requirement and condition. Materials to be heated in oven is peanut. Peanut represent bulk crop to be processed in dryer rotary to get matured result with rate irrigate 2 %. Dryer Rotary designed with type of direc capacities flow parallel dryer rotary head 50 hour/clock, with long dimension drum of dryer 5,65 m, diameter in drum 1,7 m, external diameter of drum 1,72 m, rotation of dryer 0,75 rpm, owning inclination angle;corner 1o, and time remain materials 79 minute. Materials used for the rotary of the dryer is steel of kontroksi machin, and to move have motor energy equal to 0,153 kw with rotation 450 rpm. With result of device of rotary dryer can to heat and let ripen peanut with rate irrigate 42% becoming 2%, with warm-up time 79 minute with capacities 50 kg/h
